golf courses have been top ranked in Oregon, with Big Meadow being awarded 4 stars by Golf Digest. Black Butte Ranch sits at the base of the Cascade mountain range, located just 7 miles west of Sisters in beautiful central Oregon. Both facilities are challenging Oregon golf courses with stunning mountain views and are overseen by Director of Golf Jeff Fought.
The Big Meadow golf course, designed by Robert Muir Graves, measures over 7,000 yards with numerous Cap and Bay bunkers to challenged golfers as it works it way through majestic Oregon Ponderosa pines. Big Meadow represents one of the finest test of any Central Oregon golf course. Every component of the golf course from tees to immaculate greens matches the pristine setting of Black Butte Ranch.
Glaze Meadow golf course is undergoing a $3.75 million complete renovation under the guidance of John Fought. When it opens in Spring 2012, the Glaze Meadow course will be the newest golf course in Central Oregon. It will be Oregon golf at its best — in the center of nature — far from any distractions other than the stunning snow capped Cascade Peaks and glowing Aspen groves that surround the golf course at every turn. Measuring over 7,000 from the championship tees when completed, Glaze Meadow Golf Course will feature bent grass greens and lush blue grass fairways for all golfers to enjoy!
