Ranch Signature Massage

This massage focuses on relaxation using Swedish techniques to help relieve stress, aches and improve circulation. The application of warm steamed towels will leave you feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and relaxed.

This technique uses slow, deep guided strokes and firm pressure designed to help relieve tension that reaches deeper than the superficial muscles. Prenatal Massage

A nurturing massage (second and third trimesters only) tailored specifically to the needs of expecting mothers. Tired hands and soles are treated to a delicious, pumpkin spice soak. This sultry dip not only softens, but hydrates + brightens with vitamin C to kick this treatment off with a very silky start! Event Spa Experiences

Gather at the Spa at Black Butte Ranch and celebrate! The Spa can accommodate private Spa Takeover parties for weddings, girlfriends’ getaways, golf groups, corporate outings and other special occasions.

Work with the Spa team to customize your experience. We can design a special spa menu for your group and provide select group services such as nail care, facials, massage and referrals for special event hair and makeup services.

The intimate setting in the Spa is perfect for catching up, relaxing and laughing out loud.  (20% gratuity for group booking or bookings of three or more treatments added to spa treatment cost.)  Please call the Spa for additional information.

Event Services are a great way to treat yourself within the privacy of your own home. The Spa also offers mobile services at the pool and around the property for everyday treatments and may be hired for events held at Black Butte Ranch. All services include the use of our hot tub and steam room.

Additional Services

When you make your appointment, ask about additional services, pricing, preference of male or female therapist and cancellation charges. A credit card is needed to make a reservation.

Arrival

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your Spa appointment, so you can relax and enjoy an unhurried transition into the Spa atmosphere. Bring your swimsuit and dip in the pool or soak in steam room to make the most of your Central Oregon spa experience. Our client information form will be emailed to you with your Spa appointment confirmation.

Spa Guest

Spa guests have full access to our indoor pool, fitness center, steam room and hot tub. Come early and work out, or simply stay awhile after your treatment and enjoy a soak in our outdoor hot tub. You can also browse the wonderful selections inside our sports and gift shop, featuring a variety of organic skin treatment products as well as clothing, shoes, swimwear, gifts, jewelry and more.

Communication

Communication with your Spa therapist is important. All aspects of spa treatments can be modified to suit you, including lighting levels, music and whether you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. Discuss the type of procedure and any concerns you may have. If at any time during your experience you have discomfort, please tell the therapist. If you want the therapist to give you a deep massage, or be more gentle, let him or her know.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in your service price. Gratuities are proportional to the level of satisfaction; however, 15%-20% is customary. If you have multiple services from different Spa staff members (a massage therapist, a facial esthetician, etc.), separate gratuities are appreciated.  A 20% gratuity for group booking or bookings of three or more treatments will be added to spa treatment cost.

Phones

We ask that cell phones not be used in the Spa in an effort to provide a relaxing and serene atmosphere for everyone. Please whisper in the waiting area, out of consideration of those already in a session.

Age

Spa guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation

Scheduled appointments must be canceled a minimum of 24 hours before appointment time to avoid being charged the full amount of your service.

Holidays

  • Holidays include Martin Luther King weekend, Presidents Day weekend, Valentines Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
  • Thanksgiving holiday includes the Friday, Saturday and Sunday preceding Thanksgiving Day and the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving Day.
  • Christmas holiday includes December 22-New Year’s weekend.
