The 25-foot climbing wall at Black Butte Ranch is popular with the kids. Wednesday nights in the summer (Check the Activity Guide for dates), kiddos and adults can test their climbing skills and then groove to live music.

They provide personal, professional rock climbing instruction and guiding services for all ages and abilities. From the first-time rock climber to those breaking into advanced skills, the seasoned Smith Rock guides provide exceptional service for their clients. First Ascent Climbing has a low client-to-guide ratio to ensure quality service. Half-day and full-day adventures are offered at the hours that work best for your group.
