Cycle Our On-Site Bike Trails
The Ranch is home to almost 24 miles of paved trails, which means there’s something for guests of all ages. To start your biking adventure, first stop by the Glaze Meadow Rental Shop, which has an array of rentals. Another fun option is Wheel Fun Rentals, which has seating for one to six people and is available through Lakeside Activity Center.
Once you have your bike, decide which trail you want to explore. The Glaze Meadow Loop is roughly 4 miles and is a great option for families. The Lodge-Big Meadow Loop is an ideal spot for wildlife viewing, offering stunning views of Black Butte. There’s also the Paulina Springs Trail, which you can access from the Lodge-Big Meadow Loop trail and includes a stopover at Paulina Springs.
Spend Time Out on the Water
Another great way to take in the beauty of Black Butte Ranch is paddling along the water. Our resort is found on the shores of Phalarpe Lake. Soak in the sunshine as you take in the beauty of the lake and mountain backdrop. Whether you’re looking to go canoeing, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding, we have you covered. Stop by the Lakeside Pool to rent all necessary equipment.
