Glaze Meadow Recreation Center Fitness
Glaze Meadow Recreation Center (GMRC) affords year round recreational opportunities at Black Butte Ranch and healthy lifestyle options for the entire family. The outdoor pool, hot tub, children’s wading pool and “spray” ground is a popular gathering place to take in the sunshine and inhale the fresh mountain air. The Glaze Meadow Snack Shop operates seasonally, and hours vary Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Something For Everyone
Inside the Recreation Center, there’s something for everyone. For keeping fit, the indoor pool is open year round and offers leisure swimming and lap swimming. The fitness center features cardiovascular and strength-training exercise equipment with treadmills, ellipticals and exercise bikes, as well as weight machines. There’s also a fitness room where yoga and other classes are offered, along with free weights, exercise balls and stretching mats. The steam room and outdoor hot tub, also open year round, are wonderful places to relax and unwind after your workout. The Spa at Black Butte Ranch is located inside GMRC, delivering an array of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. GMRC includes day-use locker rooms with shower amenities, lockers and swimsuit spinners.
After your workout, check out the selections inside the Glaze Meadow Sports Shop, featuring the latest in resort wear, fashions, swim suits, footwear, accessories and gifts. If you need to reconnect, there’s also a wireless hotspot in the lobby of Glaze Meadow Recreation Center.
Just a short walk from GMRC is the Family Recreation Area. Follow the path from the playground behind Glaze Meadow green #6. The area offers a full-court basketball court, four pickleball courts, two bocce ball courts and two horseshoe pits. Pickleball and bocce ball sets can be rented and courts reserved on the hour, and can be made by contacting GMRC at 541.595.5881.
Please note that pool towels are not available, so don’t forget to bring your own.

In addition to the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center, Black Butte Ranch also offers a second option — Lakeside Fitness Center.
The Lakeside Fitness Center is located in the heart of the Ranch. Offering panoramic Cascade views, a state of the art fitness center, locker room, infinite pool, kids wading pool, hot tub, sauna, lakeside access to water sports and up-close window service to the Lakeside Bistro. The Lakeside Fitness Center / Pool is closely connected to the Lakeside Activity Center, which offers a host of kids activities throughout the year. The Lakeside Fitness Center offers state of the art fitness equipment, including Precor ellipticals, treadmills, bikes, and a rowing machine as well as free weights up to 50lbs, stretching and abdominal equipment. Relax after a hard workout in the Lakeside hot tub or sauna with panoramic views of the Cascades
