With all the things there are to do here, there simply isn’t room to bring all the gear you might need. You just focus on packing up the kids and the dog—we’ve got you covered with rentals for everything else.

The Equipment Rental Shop is located at the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center.

Be Safe & Have Fun!

  • Use the bike paths & stop before crossing roads
  • Ride defensively; watch out for others
  • Keep to the right and ride single file
  • Pedestrians have the right of way
  • Use hand signals to indicate turning or stopping
  • Watch out for soft shoulders, sand, slippery pine needles, gravel or bumps from tree roots
  • Stay off of private property and fragile surfaces
  • Walk your bike in congested areas and buildings
  • Check brakes, reflectors and lights for safety
  • Bike helmets are required for all riders under 16
  • Use caution on all downhills

We have bikes for the entire family and child trailers – the most diverse bike selection the Ranch has ever had.  Stop by and check us out!

Bike Rental Details

  • All equipment is rented on a first come, first served basis.
  • Rentals are due back the following day by 12pm.   Daily rates are “shop days,” not 24 hours.  Weekly rates are for 6 days, returned on the 7th day.
  • Valid credit card or homeowner account is required for deposit.  You will be charged when rentals are returned.
  • A damage fee will be charged if the rental equipment was not returned in the same condition as when it was rented.
  • Bicycle helmets are required for all riders under 16 years of age and are encouraged for everyone.

$25 each way.  Six bike maximum, delivered between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.

The Rental Shop offers complete bike tune-up and repair services.  From a flat tire to a full performance tune up, we can take care of your routine maintenance and repairs to ensure your outdoor recreational equipment is performing at its best.

These unique Wheel Fun Bikes create a fun way to explore the Ranch and are available for rent seasonally mid-June through Labor Day at the Lakeside Activity Center.  We offer a full range of bike styles that will seat anywhere from one to six people!   Call 855-254-8043 for information.

Canoe, Kayak & Standup Paddleboard Rentals

Coming this summer!

The staff at the Lakeside Pool offers canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards rentals for you to enjoy on Phalarope Lake.  Paddles and life jackets are included.

Boat rentals will be available daily from 9am-7pm once the season starts. Boating classes will be from 10am-11am. See summer Activity Guide or call 855-254-8043 for more information.

Please note that children 12 and younger are required to wear life jackets (which we provide), and are required to have supervision with them out on the water.

Meet all your needs for an enjoyable day of fly-fishing on Phalarope Lake through Lakeside Activity Center, including flies and fly rods.  (Must be 12 years or older to use the fly rods.) There are FREE fly casting clinics Saturday Mornings at 10am during the summer.  Participants in the clinic will be practicing on the lawn so a valid license is not needed for the clinic.

Winter Equipment Rentals

Winter Ski & Snowshoe Rentals

Check out the fleet of skis at the Equipment Rental Shop at GMRC.  We have 120 pairs of Rossignol EVO 60 waxless skis perfect for groomed trails or off the beaten path.
Kids sizes starting at 110cm – 130cm – 150 cm and adult sizes lengths from 165cm – 175cm – 185cm – 195cm
Skis can be used on the groomed Big Meadow golf course trails when there are at least 6” of snow on the course. Skiers can set their own tracks on the Glaze Meadow course. Please stay off of tees and greens to protect the course.
Skis may also be used at nearby Ray Benson Snow Park. For ski and snowshoe rentals, call Glaze Meadow Rental Shop at 541-595-5877.

13 miles west of BBR, across the highway from the Hoodoo (off Highway 20/126). It’s a popular sledding area with nearby trails for skiers and snowshoers.
