Black Butte Ranch Fire Department and Police Department team up to provide a fun and educational program for kids.
What better summer fun for kids on the Ranch than coming to visit the fire station on Wednesdays to climb inside the fire trucks and police cars! This year we’re thrilled to announce that public safety is bringing together their two separate programs into one fun-filled morning. Visitors can meet police officers and firefighters, climb inside a fire truck, ambulance and police car as well as watch fun, kid-oriented safety videos, get sworn in as a junior police officer (with a badge to match!), go home with their very own fire hat, learn about police equipment and even try their hand putting out a simulated fire.
