Lot Certification
866.589.6639 | 541.595.1529

Update:The Lot Certification Office has mailed out information on how to certify their lot to the standards of Senate Bill 360 to each homeowner. The State of Oregon and the BBR Board of Directors require compliance with these standards and certification to the Oregon Department of Forestry that each lot meets those standards. Volunteer BBR homeowners have been trained by the State of Oregon to assist other homeowners in assessing their lots for compliance. The Lot Certification Office coordinates these volunteers. The Office has begun to receive completed request forms from homeowners for a volunteer assessment. The Office will begin to dispatch the volunteer assessors on May 1.

Meanwhile, the State of Oregon Department of Forestry is completing the final testing of a new computerized database of lots at BBR. They advise that the new database should be completed and operational in mid-May.

2008 RESORT CUP

The annual competition between Black Butte Ranch, Eagle Crest, Widgi Creek and Sunriver kicks off on Tuesday, May 13 at Big Meadow. We need 10 players with both high and low handicaps to represent BBR. It is a shotgun start at 8:24AM.

Last year we finished second, but had it not been for our fire evacuation, we likely would have won the trophy. We were forced to play short handed at Widgi Creek so we couldn't throw out our worst score.

If you are interested in playing on May 13, please email Bill Carson. In the past we have had a qualifier, but this year the plan is to reward those who want to participate. We will select a team based on interest and by lot if we have more than 10 sign up. Marv Hoff will Captain the team, so let us know as soon as you decide if you would like to participate, so we can let everyone know who will be playing.

See You on the Green..........

lodgingRental Operations Tour of Homes

May 4, 2008, from 1:00PM - 3:00PM.

Sunday, May 4is the date of this year's Tour of Homes. Mark your calendar! This is a great way to personally view the quality of the homes, condominiums and cabins available for guests on the Ranch. Staff and even Owners of these properties will be available to answer questions during your self-tour. We can have the Group Sales Coordinator or an Agent get back to you if you need extras space for your personal guests this summer.

The Ranch is proud of the quality of properties in the program. One of our rental Owners recently encountered other Owners on the Ranch relaying misinformation on the Ranch rentals and promptly invited them to tour his home. If you haven't been in one of our homes in a few years, you are invited to get first-hand knowledge and help spread the word. You are our biggest sales representative!

Properties scheduled for the tour include:

  • Black Butte 14
  • Country House 44
  • East Meadow 17
  • Golf Home 234
  • Lodge Condo 22, 23, 24
  • South Meadow 182

A map and final list of properties will be available at the Lodge Front Desk and Post Office the week prior to the Tour.
