ATTN: Golf Home
Owners
When the Major Improvement Projects were
approved, the vote included demolition of the
old Administration,
Housekeeping and Maintenance buildings and sale of 2
lots there for residential use.
The old buildings have
been abandoned and operations have been moved to Section
5 and the Community Complex. Work is underway to
demolish the buildings and rehabilitate the lots in
preparation for sale.
Moving the previous
light industrial uses away from the Golf Home Section is
a benefit. One formality remaining is the need to
change the designation of these two lots in the Golf
Home Section Declaration from "Miscellaneous Ranch
Properties" to "Private Areas".
75% of the homeowners in
the Golf Home Section must approve of this change in
designation. You will soon be receiving a specific
ballot on this issue. Please watch for it in your
mail box. Thank you.

A
Request from the BBR Art
Guild
The Black Butte Ranch Art Guild has a long
history. Our first goal has always been to provide
art for the community spaces at the Ranch. The
first purchases were for the Lodge, then the Clubhouse
and now art is being created for the Glaze Meadow
complex.
Our second
goal is to encourage the arts by giving art scholarships
to seniors at Sisters High School and granting money to
the art programs at the elementary and middle
school.
Our source of income has been the Art at the Ranch show
help over Labor Day, the quilt raffle and
the Holiday Home Tour. Many homeowners have
donated their time and money to make these activities a
success.
Suddenly
when everything was in place to have another
successful year we had the tragedy of the fire
evacuation on Labor Day weekend.
This has
meant we are operating with only half the funds usually
available. We have decided that to enable us to
continue our goals, we must find a new source of revenue
for this year. Therefore, because we are a
non-profit 501 (C) (3) we can accept donations from
anyone who wishes to help us to meet our
goals.
Checks may be sent to BBR Art Guild, PMB 8287, POB 8000,

Rental Operations Tour of Homes
Scheduled for May 4, 2008
Sunday, May 4 is the date of
this year's Tour of
Homes. Mark your
calendar!
This is a great way to personally view the
quality of the homes, condominiums and cabins available
for guests on the Ranch. Staff and even
Owners of these properties will be available to answer
questions during your self-tour. We can have the
Group Sales Coordinator or an Agent get back to you if
you need extras space for your personal guests this
summer.
The
Ranch is proud of the quality of properties in the
program.
One of our rental Owners recently encountered
other Owners on the Ranch relaying misinformation on the
Ranch rentals and promptly invited them to tour his
home. If
you haven't been in one of our homes in a few years, you
are invited to get first-hand knowledge and help spread
the word.
You are our biggest sales
representative!
The
Tour runs 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Current
properties scheduled for the tour include:
Black Butte 14
Country House 44
East Meadow
17
Golf Home 234
Lodge Condo 22, 23, 24
South Meadow 182
A
map and final list of properties will be available at
the Lodge Front Desk and Post Office the week prior to
the Tour.
