| Tour of Rental Homes |
Sunday, May 4 is the date of this year’s Tour of Homes. Mark your calendar! This is a great way to personally view the quality of the homes, condominiums and cabins available for guests on the Ranch. Staff and even Owners of these properties will be available to answer questions during your self-tour. We can have the Group Sales Coordinator or an Agent get back to you if you need extras space for your personal guests this summer.
The Ranch is proud of the quality of properties in the program. One of our rental Owners recently encountered other Owners on the Ranch relaying misinformation on the Ranch rentals and promptly invited them to tour his home. If you haven’t been in one of our homes in a few years, you are invited to get first-hand knowledge and help spread the word. You are our biggest sales representative!
The Tour runs 1pm to 3pm. Current properties scheduled for the tour include: Black Butte 14, Country House 44, East Meadow 17, Golf Home 234, Lodge Condo 22, 23, 24, South Meadow 182. Map

| BBR Fire Department |
The Black Butte Ranch Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors decided, at their November Board meeting, to ban all open burning on Black Butte Ranch effective January 1, 2008. After several months of research and homeowner input it was decided that it was best for our community to ban burning altogether. Debris will need to be transported to the "pit" on McAllister in Section 5. Currently there is no charge for dumping natural debris because it is used in a cogeneration plant in Roseburg. If there is any change to the free dumping plan, Ranch Administration will inform homeowners at that time.
The BBR Fire Board now meets on the third Thursdays of the month.
