Please Lend a Hand

The Lot Certification Office has one full time staff person. That Office would welcome volunteers to assist with the staggering amount of paperwork related to lot certification. Call 595-1527.

Homeowner Volunteers will join the Lot Certification Committee of the BBR Board of Directors and will be available to assist other Homeowners in certifying their lots to the standards of Senate Bill 260.  The Board of Directors voted on September 22, 2007 to require that all BBR lots meet these standards.

Fire Related Information

The Black Butte Ranch Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors decided, at their November Board meeting, to ban all open burning on Black Butte Ranch effective January 1, 2008.  After several months of research and homeowner input it was decided that it was best for our community to ban burning altogether.  Debris will need to be transported to the "pit" on McAllister in Section 5.  Currently there is no charge for dumping natural debris because it is used in a cogeneration plant in Roseburg.  If there is any change to the free dumping plan, Ranch Administration will inform homeowners at that time.

The BBR Fire Board now meets on the third Thursdays of the month.
