Vacation Rental Details for Black Butte Ranch

  • The Ranch's Community Recreation Fee is 8%.   This fee includes use of Black Butte Ranch recreational facilities including pools, fitness center, bike paths and other amenities.
  • Rates are subject to 7% Deschutes county room tax and an additional 1% Oregon state tax.
  • Rates are per night; minimum stay may apply.
  • Cleaning fees apply to the duration of stay unless otherwise noted.
  • Roll-away beds and cribs are available for an additional charge
  • Full Service Accommodations: Kitchens, washers and dryers available in the unit.
  • Black Butte Ranch offers some pet friendly vacation rentals. If a unit is not listed as "pet friendly" then pets are not permitted at that home.
  • All Black Butte Ranch vacation rentals are smoke-free.
  • All Black Butte Ranch vacation rentals are privately owned. ADA certified properties are not available on site. We do have handicapped-friendly units with bathroom assistance and easy entry access.
  • Rates and home descriptions are subject to change without notice.
  • Check-in time is 4pm; Check-out time is 11am.

Cancellation Policy for Vacation Rentals at Black Butte Ranch

Vacation Rentals canceled 45+ days from arrival: $50 processing fee 
Vacation Rentals canceled 30-45 days from arrival: 50% refund of advance deposit 
Vacation Rentals canceled less than 30 days from arrival: forfeit deposit
Early Departures and No Shows: No Refunds

Housekeeping Services at Black Butte Ranch

Housekeeping is provided prior to your arrival. Full-service accommodations allow you to do your own laundry.  Service during your stay can be requested. Mid-week towel and garbage service for stays longer than 4 nights is provided. Lodge rooms have daily housekeeping service. As an added comfort for our guests, we triple-sheet our rooms.

Access and Recreation Fees to Black Butte Ranch

Access and community recreation fees are 8% of nightly rate to access the Ranch's recreational facilities when staying with Black Butte Ranch. For non-Black Butte Ranch managed vacation homes, access fees are $5 per person per day, year round.

Welcome Center

The Welcome Center at Black Butte Ranch is the first stop on any guest's journey to Black Butte Ranch during their central Oregon vacation getaway.  It is the place for owners and guests to check-in, receive a map and information about guest access and obtain the proper credentials for the Ranch.
