Golf Maintenance
Black Butte Ranch is accepting applications for Assistant Superintendent. The assistant superintendent will be involved in the daily and long term planning and direction of the golf course maintenance operation. Will work closely with, and under the direction of, the golf course superintendent. Duties will include all activities crucial to maintaining a quality golf course; crew training and supervision, fertilizer and pesticide application, construction project supervision, irrigation repair and scheduling and daily inspection of golf course and grounds. A degree in turfgrass management and some practical golf course experience. Must have or obtain Oregon pesticide applicators license within 6 months of hire. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, good communication skills and a positive attitude. This is a full time year round salary positions. Compensation is DOE.
