Waxing Services at the Spa

Waxing is a very convenient, cost effective, longer-lasting and quick method of removing unwanted body hair.  As it removes hair directly from the roots, one does not need to worry about hair growth for 3 to 6 weeks.

Q:  When is the best time and age to wax?

A:  Winter is and excellent time to start because the body is more covered and therefore, easier to let the hair grow between waxing.  But, anytime of the year is fine.  Many teens find that waxing is a great introduction to hair removal. 

Q:  When should waxing not be done?

A:  You should not have waxing done if you are on Retin A, Accutane, or any other skin thinning product or have a systemic disease.  Never wax on areas in and around open wounds.  Check further with your salon professional.

Q:  Is waxing just for women?

A:  No, waxing is a preferred method for men’s neck line, eyebrows and ears.
