4th of July at the Ranch
Celebrate the 4th of July at Black Butte Ranch! The day begins with a Fun Run, followed by the infamous Bicycle Parade and BBQ at the Rec Barn.
Remember, Fireworks are prohibited at the Ranch. Even sparklers can cause a fire.

Annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration
8am 4th of July Fun Run/Walk to benefit Bend Endurance Academy $10 Registration begins at 7:30am Registration Form T-shirts available for $15.
10:30am Bicycle Parade* Decorating at the Sport Field $3 per kit Kits also available at the Recreation Center anytime prior to July 4. * Parade participants (under age 16) riding a bike or skating must wear a bike helmet!
11:30am 4th of July Parade Begins at Sport Field and ends at Rec Barn - don't forget your helmet! (They're required)
12-2pm BBQ at the Rec Barn Featured this 4th of July will be slow roasted pig with all the fixins.

**Oregon Helmet Law ORS 814.485
Effective on July 1st, 1994 youth under age 16 riding a bicycle, skateboarding, riding a scooter, or using in-line skates, when a passenger on a bike in any public place (streets, roads, sidewalks, parks, ect.) must wear bicycle helmets labeled ANSI and/or Snell approved. Failure to wear the helmet is a traffic infraction punishable by a maximum fine of $25. This law is in violation if the person operating a bicycle carries another person on the bicycle who is under the 16 years of age is not wearing a helmet.
