Pools at Black Butte Ranch
Black Butte Ranch has five swimming pools on the Ranch at four locations: The Lodge pool, South Meadow pool, Paulina pool and the Glaze Meadow pools.
Lifeguards are on duty at the pools during the summer beginning mid-June. Everyone should use the buddy system, and children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using any of our facilities. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the pool during Adult Lap Swim times.
Please bring your own towels prior to visiting any of the pool facilities at the Ranch — pool towels are not available.
Glaze Meadow Pools
The Glaze Meadow Recreation Center features an indoor lap pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, wading pool and spray ground. The indoor pool and hot tub are open year round. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer.

Notes: Please follow posted rules. Kids are welcome at the pool except during Adult Lap Swim. Under 6 years of age may not use the hot tub, and children under 14 years must have an adult supervisor present. Lifeguards are on staff during the summer season only.
Swimming Lessons
Cost is $10 per child, ages 4 and older. Lessons must be paid for at the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center. Group lessons are available Monday—Friday, 9—10am. Private lessons are available Monday—Friday, 9—11am. Call 541.595.5879 for information.
Beginners — little or no water experience.
Advanced Beginners — work on front crawl and breathing.
Intermediates — perfect front crawl and work on other strokes.
Private lessons must be preregistered and paid for at the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center.
Private: $30. Semi-private: $15 per child.

The Lodge Pool
The Lodge pool has the best view of the mountains. Soak in the view and the sun. The Lifeguards at the Lodge pool rent canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards to use on Phalarope Lake by the Lodge. See the staff at the Rec Barn by the Lodge for boats to take off—Ranch and for off—season rentals.

The South Meadow Pool
The South Meadow Pool is a little quieter during the summer than the Glaze Meadow or Lodge pools. Enjoy looking up at the tall Ponderosas and Aspen while you float.
